� 2003-10-05 - 10:47 p.m. Friday morning my old roommate called saying he had tickets to the Cubs playoff game. He wanted to know if I could leave early and go with him. Awesome, I got the hottest tickets in town for free, 20 rows off the third base line. I asked my boss if it was okay to leave early and she said yes. It was really busy at work and I worked my ass off to get everything done on time. Thirty minutes after I get home one of my boss�s underlings paged me saying she needed me at work at 7 AM Monday morning. I�m sure she only sent this to me because I had left 1 hour early to go to a Cubs game. Talk about micromanaging. It isn�t like I work at Wal-Mart or anything. I never leave early. So the game was great. Mark Prior pitched a complete game two hitter and tonight the Cubs advanced to the next round. What a great day it is for Chicago sports. The bears win the Cubs win a play off series. All we need now is 8 more Cubs victories and the Bears playing in January again. I went to the Riverboat yesterday morning and won 60 bucks playing black jack. I�ve taken over 1000 dollars from the Casino this year. I just might get addicted to gambling. Last night I went into the city and drank at several bars, Darwin�s was the most memorable. They had Old Dirty bastard on tap. I didn�t order one though maybe next time. Go Bears Like this entry?
